Kronborg Identity
Kronborg Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Helsingør, Denmark. Bordering the narrow passage separating Denmark and Sweden, it served both a strategic and symbolic role in the region's royal and maritime history.
Aligned with the spacious, humble atmosphere of Kronborg's interior, this hypothetical identity system resists more romantic royal signals. It draws from themes of sea stone, coastal weather, and changing seasons. The result is a versatile visual system which is suited to modern needs while honoring the castle’s royal heritage, seaside location, and ethos.
